Animation Review

This year, when I went to Funtech , I did Animation and it was amazing!

funtech course

I enjoyed this course alot it was very helpful.Although the teachers could have been a bit more interactive.

Funtech was very good!

I found this course very good but some of the videos covered too much in one go. The teachers were very good but were sometimes a little strict. I think that there is a lack of free time on the computers. Apart from those things it was a very good course.

Epic camp

The coding camps was fun and awesome. I learnt lots and lots of coding. The teachers were helpful and full of advice if you are stuck.It Was Epic!!!

Really fun

I have thoroughly enjoyed this camp as the leader Stefan has been amazing. The videos and coursework were slightly complicated but overall our leader helped us to do what we wanted so that we would enjoy our time. We had fun on multiplayer servers too which made for a really fun week.

Java Midweek Review

I actually learnt a lot about Java in these few days I was at Funtech. It has been enjoyable and the teachers really helped with any problems I had with understanding Java.

really fun learning experience

This camp I really enjoyed I learned a lot and it was really fun with fun staff and I would DEFINITELY come back here again but I had a issue here and there but other than that I really enjoyed it.

Tonbridge - Java Coder

I found the Tonbridge Java Coder course very helpful, It taught me a lot about Java coding, and it was very helpful, with activities mixed on the side. Overall, A good experience for anyone wishing for a future in coding, Or wishing to learn Java..

Very informative but sitting at a computer almost all day is hard and wears your eyes out. Java is a life skill and can help you a lot. Staff were very knowledgeable and informative. Brief knowledge about computers is required and a knowledge of maths is recommend. Afternoon activities are fun. Lunch was generally good and tasted good. Computers are relatively modern. I can not comment on the accommodation because I was a day student.

I liked this course. The games were fun, I learn't quickly and the challenges were good motivation boosts. I really enjoyed learning to touch type. I would definitely recommend this course.

Quite fun and interesting.

Java coding is Hard

It is a great course but I think the days were a bit too long and that the building could be more colourful. The teachers are great and I would recommend it to kids who like to play computer games and who like computers

the course is brilliant but the breaks are unsociable people on there phones not talking and asking questions about the other courses.

I liked my week of designing an FPS, I learnt a lot. Now I feel confident that I can make my own game. However some parts were tricky to grasp. I still think I would like to come here again.

An enjoyable, educational camp, fun and entertaining but dragged on for too long going on a computer for ~7 hours isn't healthy. Perhaps shorten it to 10-4. Otherwise, extremely fun.

I enjoyed the week of creating a FPS game and although we did some scripting I would have liked to do some more. The staff was helpful but the teaching was done by videos so I would have liked the teacher do do the teaching most of the time. Overall it was very fun.

funtyper [a funtech session] is great apart from that is a little repetitive as if you fail there is no checkpoint and you have to start again and on the 3rd day they take away the keys on the keyboard and that makes alot more difficult otherwise they are great and are very nice as they take you bo

mincraft redstone- a session where your child gets to use minecraft and play with restone
minecraft mods-a session where you get to play and learn to code (need to have done java coding) and make your own minecraft mod.

Fun typer intensive

This course is a very fun course as you unlock loads of games. My favourite part of the week was the competitions. I would recommend Funtech to other children. I would like to come back next year also the teachers were very fun and exciting giving us challenges during lunch and breaks.

The teachers can help you when you are stuck or something has happened to your blender file and you don't know how to fix it, just put your hand up and they will help you. Blender can be glitchy or lagy (because you made too many faces) and that is why i didn't put 5 stars. Overall the week has been GREAT. You should get blender and have hours of fun! I created a robot on a planet and an alien skull, what can you do?

FunTech is awesome

I thought funtech's minecraft redstone camp was awesome, but i would not give it five stars because five stars is like going into minecraft or riding a tiger with a jetpack.

Lego NXT

I really enjoyed doing my Lego NXT course. I really enjoyed robot wars on the last day of the course. I would love to do this again

I'm new to coding and this was a great way to learn all the basics and something quite difficult towards the end.

summer java camp

I would like to state that this course was good but for it's money it should be a bit more advanced and a bit more strict on who they let in the door to code.

Hard but worth it

Unlocking the games were a bit stressful but my teachers helped me through there are many fun games to play.
I definitely will think about doing Java Coder and Minecraft Mods

PROS: FunTyper Intensive was a fun course, with great teachers. Dev and Jake were especially helpful. At the end, everyone got prizes which gave a fun ending to a good course. CONS: I thought it would have older kids and got annoyed when one day we had to wait for the younger kids to catch up.

AMAZZING!!!!!!!

when I came I didn't know how to type. I now known no how to tuchtype!!! . The teachers (jake & dev)are really nice and help you out alot.if you need help they can come and tell you tactics like do 20 then break.

Fun

I enjoyed the 3D game design quite a lot and it was all good except for some scripts not working which added further limitation. e.g. no super jump or melee scripts. Apart from that it was lots of fun
