Can I use childcare vouchers to pay for camps?

Absolutely. We accept a number of childcare voucher schemes. Please see our childcare voucher page for more details.

How long are your summer camps?

All summer camps last for 5 days of teaching time, our residential courses start a day earlier than our daytime camps but teaching is always Mon-Fri.Day Camps: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (we do not offer single day camps)
Residential Camps: Sunday 5pm to Friday 5:30pm

As a parent, do I have to do anything? 

No, just get your child there on time and we’ll do the rest. All camps invite parents to see what their child has been doing.
Day Camps – parents, family and friends are invited to arrive at 4pm on Friday to see what the children have accomplished
Residential Camps – parents, family and friends are invited to arrive at 4pm on Friday to take refreshments and then will be escorted to the Labs to see what the children have accomplished. Check out is between 5pm and 5:30pm

How long do children get for lunch? 

For Day and Residential Camps lunch break is 90 minutes and comes with the option for some activities. These vary from location to location, so please check the individual location page for more details.

Do they get any breaks other than at lunchtime?

All camps have 15 minute breaks apart from FunTyper where we run on one hour cycles where we have 50 minutes’ learning and then a 10 minute break. This will give your child the chance to have a snack and use up some energy.

How academic are the courses?

We take pride in delivering courses that are both academic and most importantly, fun. No matter which class, your child will come away having learnt a lot, but not through ‘rote.’. We have top quality tutors who are great at engaging children and inspiring them. This is not about ‘playing games’ all day.

Do your camp only run in the summer holidays? 

No we do offer holiday and half-terms camps in Maidenhead & Hampstead, we also offer term time courses run from our HQ in Maidenhead, as well as virtual courses. For more information please visit:

Are the fees quoted per day or for the entire camp?

The fees quoted on the website are for the entire camp duration and include VAT.

Do I need to bring any equipment?

No, we supply all computers and any other equipment required for our camps.

How do I make payment transfers if I live outside the UK?

We accept international payments using our IBAN and BIC codes: see our terms and conditions for payment details.

How do I make a booking for more than one child?

If you are making a booking for more than one child please make the bookings separately. You will need to enter some of your information more than once to do this.

Do you offer one day camps?

No. We are currently unable to offer one day camps. All camps are for a week, whether they are day camps or residential.

How long will you hold my reservation for?

We guarantee to hold your reservation for the amount of time stated below, after which we will aim to hold your reservation for as long as possible. Please note that priority is given to confirmed bookings. If the camp you have reserved has passed its guaranteed time and it is full, your name will be transferred to the waiting list.

Tech Camps (summer holiday):

  • September – March: 7 days
  • April: 72 hours
  • May: 48 hours
  • June: 36 hours
  • July – August: 8 hours


Tech Camps (Half term holidays)

  • 24 hours
Can I cancel my booking or reservation?

You can cancel a reservation at any point, by reserving a place on a camp or a course you are not committed to paying anything.


If you have already booked a place on a camp and decide to cancel there will be an administration charge of £35.

You may be entitled to a refund, depending on the amount of notice you've given us.

If you give us 28 days' notice or more, you will receive a 100% refund (less the £35 administration fee).

If you give us between 20 and 27 days' notice, you will receive a 50% refund.

If you give us less than 20 days' notice, you will not receive any refund.

What time do I need to drop my child off for their camp?

Please get your child to the camp venue by 08:50. We start promptly at 09:00.

Can I drop my child off any earlier?

Early drop off is available at 08:30. There is an additional charge of £10 for one early drop off or £30 for all five days.

What time do I need to pick my child up from their camp?

Camps finish promptly at 17:00 and your child will be ready then. Late pick up is available at 17:30. There is an additional charge of £10 for one late pick up or £30 for all five days. 

What can I do if I’m unable to pick my child up on time?

Please call us on the contact number we provided as soon as you think there may be a problem.

Does my child need to bring anything with them?

If they are attending day camps all they need to bring is a packed lunch and snacks for the two breaks. On hot days, we advise that they bring sun cream/hat.

If they are attending a residential camp everything they need to bring is listed in the welcome pack.

All computers and equipment are supplied by FunTech.

Is there a policy on mobile phones?

We do allow mobile phones, but ask that are switched off during teaching time. At other times, they can be left on.

We are coming in from overseas – can you arrange pick up from the airport?

 Yes, airport transfers are available. Please call the office on 01628 621216 for more information.

What is the average class size?

Most classes are 8 or 16 children. Occasionally we have a larger class, but the maximum tutor to pupil ratio is always 1:8.
