Lego Robotics Level 2 has been designed for children aged 10 to 13 to help them learn the basics of programming. The course covers everything in Lego Robotics Level 1 plus more advanced concepts, including algorithms and navigation.

This camp takes advantage of LEGO robots to assist the learning process by letting the students have fun while learning core programming concepts. Through demonstrations and exciting exercises they will experience the world of programming with exciting and tangible results. All programs are made using LEGO's Mindstorms software, which enables its users to visually compose programs, without the constraints of syntax and spellchecking.

Every student will be able to build their own LEGO robot and use it throughout the week to solve problems and challenges. Your children will be given the opportunity to use their own creativity to tackle these challenges.

We start by learning how to use the robot’s different sensors and motors, then leap straight into using them to produce amazing robots and programs. We cover the core programming concepts of branching and looping, to make programs only perform certain tasks when certain logical conditions are met, such as when an obstacle is detected, or the robot is driving at the right angle.

Your robot will also have the powerful capabilities of a gyro to give your robot’s movements perfect accuracy and let it orient itself however you want. Your robot will also have the versatile colour sensor, using it to react to different stimuli and changing your robot’s responses to fit the situation.

The week is packed with fun and exciting challenges which test the limits of their robot - getting through mazes, navigating obstacles, battling other robots and much, much more! Think creatively and critically to solve the challenges will give maximum satisfaction

Daytime camps are for 5 days, Monday to Friday (visit daily), and they combine an immersive learning environment and exciting leisure activities and are sure to ignite young imaginations.
